It's with enormous gratitude and pride that I can announce TWITCH has been nominated for the Carnegie Medal!
There is no higher accolade for a children's book than for it to be selected as an outstanding title by librarians. This is the third time I’ve been nominated for the Carnegie, and it never gets less exciting. Beetle Boy was longlisted for the award so I’ll have my fingers crossed that Twitch will be too. I was raised by libraries, and owe my passion for books to librarians, so today I'm doing my happy dance.
